Why does FW CHECK show Review Needed?
The selected element may have disappeared, moved, redirected, or changed in an ambiguous way. Open the device record, visit the source, and select the current version again if needed.
Why did a scheduled check not run while my Mac was asleep?
Missed scheduled times are combined into one check after the next wake or login.
Does FW CHECK inspect my connected gear?
No. It checks version information on web pages selected by you.
Where is my data stored?
Device records, source rules, versions, and history are stored locally in the app's macOS sandbox.
Can I back up my records?
Yes. Use the app's data controls to export a private .fwcheck file. Imports are validated and previewed before records are replaced.
