What RenderCheck reads

RenderCheck reads audio files in folders that you explicitly select and inspects their container, sample format, sample rate, and channel count. It also reads the profiles and folder assignments needed to perform those checks.

What RenderCheck stores

Profiles, folder assignments, observed file results, and the app settings required to restore your workflow are stored locally in the macOS app sandbox.

What RenderCheck does not do

• No account or login is required.
• No audio files are uploaded by the app.
• No advertising, analytics, or telemetry is included.
• No audio files are repaired, converted, or altered.

Deleting your data

Delete profiles and folder assignments from inside RenderCheck. Removing the app also removes its sandboxed local data according to macOS behavior. Files in your monitored folders remain yours and are not deleted by RenderCheck.
