What TapHero reads
TapHero reads your keyboard and mouse taps during a timing attempt. It uses those timestamps to calculate the result.
What TapHero stores
Completed attempts and the local history needed to compare them are stored on your Mac. The app does not require an account or network connection.
What TapHero does not do
- No account or login is required.
- No timing attempts are uploaded.
- No advertising, analytics, or telemetry is included.
- No microphone recording is performed.
Deleting your data
Clear your local history from inside TapHero. Removing the app also removes its sandboxed local data according to macOS behavior.
